A topographical survey is the basic 
requirement for a whole range of 
activities, whether it is a design for 
construction, a route plan, an urban 
development or facilities 
management, to mention a few. 
Surveys are related to either a Local 
Grid and Datum or to the Ordnance 
Survey National Grid and Datum using 
GPS techniques.

Drawings can be issued at any scale 
as hard copy plans or exported as 
digital files in a variety of industry 
standard formats such as AutoCAD, 
DXF, MOSS GENIO, PDF etc.
